Dad popped them out to haul a bed into the upstairs room since the staircase was too narrow. No shutters since the weather isn't harsh.NotClauswitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14358707844087117280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086277371785914704.post-43124774712905197922010-11-02T18:14:55.303+00:002010-11-02T18:14:55.303+00:00Haddock...they do pop out which as you say is usef...Haddock...they do pop out which as you say is usefull but energy efficiency isn't a plus point but I work in coach house so getting a move on to work up a sweat negates the abscence of any heating.Thudhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18320037763190473684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4086277371785914704.post-90552425220728277162010-11-02T17:28:10.129+00:002010-11-02T17:28:10.129+00:00Bit like a tilt 'n slide then... If I remember correctly one sash could be lifted and eased from the slides and taken out which simplified cleaning and painting.

Oh, and they banged and rattled like hell in windy weather...

haddockAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
