A happy home

Today my 80 year old mum finally moved into the house we have been building for her over the last 18 months. My mum used to own and run some of Liverpools roughest toughest night clubs and pubs but is now getting a little frail and unsteady on her pins so it was time for her to live in a place more suited to her capabilities. So with her safely in her new home and my brother in law and family now safely ensconced in our gate lodge we have our own Scouse/woolyback/redneck/Chinese self contained compound...Happy days!

That's wonderful Thud, I wish your Mum and family many happy years in the beautiful house that has been lovingly restored, she must be one very proud Mum!

Best wishes from a very gloomy C.P.A.

An excellent little cotttage-in-the-compound! My "Aunt" (Dad's cousin actually) has gotten a bit more frail and had to sell her house and move in with her daughters/families - alternating between Stony Stratford and Diss, Norfolk.
