Keep waiting for an invite to see this beautiful building inside and out but I see you haven't finished yet, so I presume invites will be in a few years time then?.

Seen number 1 holding the hands of a ginger head boy, she's like her dad yapping her head off, she has certainly grown, she was in a gang of horrors must have been out and were returning to school, all had hi-vis jackets on, I was in the queue of cars.

That staircase is gorgeous! Like Albert, can't wait to see it in person.

coming soon to the rear of quite a few premises.

Will pop in soon, not missing out on a cup of decent tea and give a cuddle to number 4, that's if she hasn't grown up and gone to university.

It's astonishing work.

Does the underside of the staircase get lath and plaster to finish it?

Thud said...

sip...bit of a problem there, lots of curves and such meaning a good finish is going to be difficult.so tomorrow I'm going to give it a couple of coats of looking over and see what I can come up with.

What's the pipework under the stairs ?

Kev, actuators for under floor heating, heat comes from air source heat pump, I like the mix of old style craftsmanship and modern heating/insulation.

Tell Nanny T I asked first but as your dear mum is moving in that's fine.
It really lovely Thud, the mastery in the wood work is sublime, I hope we get virtual tour when it's complete.

Hope all the family and Lady Thud are well and happy,
