Chooks
Too busy at the moment to build a chicken hutch so bought the one shown instead.Upon examination it seems a good buy with someone having put some thought into its design....just need some posh chickens now.
get some bantams, they are usually marginally less stupid than chicken and seem more sociable. The children can then be usefully employed trying to find the eggs which are laid wherever in secret spots.
We met a lovely couple whilst on holiday in Turkey and they made Hen Houses for retail and they looked very like yours. I wonder if it's the same people? I can't remember their names.... I'd love to keep hens but somehow I don't think it would go down well with the residents on CPA.

Do they love the yellow roof when out freeranging?

Good luck with your hen hunt

Is it from the Eggloo people?
That would look kinda swell on our new "ranch" - free eggs, maybe I need some chickens up here. Looks a lot more designer than the grim council-flat hutch-coop thing they had at Tractor Supply.
Ah. Self sufficiency, the good life.
I got meself something that goes *bang!*. Unfortunately that's all it does but it looks and sounds scary so I'm hoping that should be enough.
