My granddaughter, visiting from NZ, was given one of those pale blue eggs and requested that I soft boil it for her and provide soldiers with Marmite; OK so far, then she insisted that I'd put it upside down in the egg cup. Apparently only pointy-end up is acceptable and eggs are inedible if wrong way up. No doubt you are thoroughly familiar with the pernicketiness of young girls, my boys were perfectly happy with any food, presented in any fashion.

Who got to eat the inaugural egg?
At last...I was beginning to think they were boys!

Chick, chick, chick chicken,
lay a little egg for me!
Congratulation on having your first new laid egg, it looks almost
blue.
You'll need more than one egg or there will be fighting amongst the youngsters, as to who will have it!
Glad you had fun with Vinogirl.
Best wishes to all,
Di xx
H...he eats nutella and meat, together if I'd let him.
How many litres milk have the moo-cows produced? ;-)
You could always have roast chicken instead.
