All in all
Finally started the wall on the back of Bothy today,not the type of wall usually seen outside of a church (Chester cathedral has something similar though much grander) but it has been an enjoyable challenge to plan and make. It has been a long haul but I think the result will be worth it....we shall see!

Very English no? The Italians would have a lot more frilly stuff I expect. :-) Rather more substantial and permanent than our indoor Hawaiian-inspired railing.
