It's that time.

I have what seems to be millions of leaves on my drive, courtyard and lawns, apparently I'm supposed to move them (come on wind).I hate leaves....bugger!

Why are you supposed to move them?

What is the problem with leaves? I can never understand this: my drive is covered in leaves as well (it's Autumn...that might be a clue!), and nobody cares; they'll go away in the end.

Mystery.

PS Nice picture though!

WY, I'd love to leave them but with gravel drive and yard plus Wirral weather we end up come spring with a gravel mulch hybrid....plus my wife likes tidy with all that entails.

You'd still have to rake them off tarmac though.

I'll go with the nice photo!
As for leaves, we have more than our share; a leaf blower, a big rake, and a big ditch do away with them.

Being a train driver I love leaves.

(Not)

Leaf mulch is to a train what ice is to a car. 25 years in the job has taught me some good techniques for stopping and starting.

Kev, you win on that one!

There are devices which do this.

James, around here we call those devices....children!

Bloody monotonous whine from leaf blowers...

Drives us mad here - I sold mine on Ebay for a tenner!

Peace, perfect peace!

My leaf-blower is a stinking two-stroke and it make Mother Gaia and The Hippies weep, yay! You can borrow it anytime, but what I really need is an acorn-scoop.
