Great expectations.

Over the course of the weekend my wife and I endeavoured to work our way through our childrens Christmas lists. The long process of would should or could in respect of the various requests was finally completed on Sunday night when we discovered yet another double sided list from daughter number 2, a comprehensive list to add to her already voluminous demands. Now she has been a rather good little girl so there is no doubt which side of naughty or nice she is on but the GDP of a mid ranking nation would be required to satisfy her wishes. I do quite admire and enjoy the kids lack of any idea of the price of toys and their belief in Santas ability to fulfil his half of the whole Christmas deal, mind you...its not him that pays!

You ogre, fancy denying those kids their Christmas lists, they've worked hard for you all year, I presume their social calendars are now full until Christmas and you have the honour of being bodyguard and chauffeur to these social events,

Our GCs have a list mainly thought up by YD and Mr YD, as they're so young, but you can bet that this will all change, and we can then compare notes...

...probably big fat ones with fifty written on them!

Wouldn't want it any other way really!
