America tends to give me ideas above and beyond my station but I must admit this quad my boy took a shine to was rather neat....who doesn't need a camo quad bike in their life? There is something similar for sale in the U.K. and if I tell myself a couple of white lies I can just about justify buying one...done deal!

Go for it. It'll make it easier to round up the chickens at bedtime :)
Not to rain on your parade, but ask an ER Physician about quad bikes....http://www.bodybyscience.net/home.html/?p=740
EA. I know what you mean but I've some woodland to clear out and this will make access easier plus it pulls a half ton trailer....I'm rather past driving like a tit!....at least I think I am.
Just remember it's agricultural tool and not a toy. People who play on quads can get injured, but given proper respect for its role they can be safely used. Plus they're cheaper than a tractor and camo is cool for hunting in the fall. :-)
Wow! That is supersize me. I had a bad experience on a quad in Mexico, so never again for me!
Well yes, I need one to get me up the steps in increasing old age.
James "Biggles" Higham: Hit those steps in third gear with the throttle on and lean over the front when it comes up. Remember, "When in doubt, gas-it!" Also be ready to bail...
You've worked hard, taken risks and made bloody good decisions in life. You don't have to have justification for getting anything. That's the beauty of the capitalist system.
