Making haste

The weather for once is holding up pretty well here and so I'm taking advantage and burning as many of the falling leaves as I can. Most autumns I'm left with tons of soggy rotten leaf fall but this year outside it smells of burning leaves, a favourite of mine...more good weather please.

Thud: What a moody-cool photo!
Do I take it that you live adjacent to that big leafy tree? Is it an oak of some kind?

Wouldn't composting them be a bit more useful?

W.Y....plenty to go round!
Dennis...I kind of bought a small village here so plenty of buildings for me to live in,the tree is an ash.
