Ring out those bells

I'm a bit of a Jethro Tull fan (shame!) and so my oldest daughter plays flute which she may or may not enjoy but she likes to keep the old man happy so she perseveres. I've been to church for several functions this past week and very enjoyable it has been, helped by the stunning churches in our village. Yesterday was a carol concert and my oldest fluted (?) away with gusto....ta very much sweetheart.

Nothing wrong about Jethro's 'Solstice Bells'! Gorgeous bit near the end...

Happy Christmas, Thud, and to all your lovely family. I've so enjoyed seeing you make such a great home for your Mum, your lovely wife and children, and that's probably what this sort of 'blogging' is all about!

Can you do me a favour? Click on one of my oldest friends, and see if you can get any of his music near what you may like!

'Berlin Ritz'. (Harry's the man).

(I've now got his latest CD to play - he sent it to me just yesterday)!

Nice Norman arch you got there, Thud.

One of yours is it?

Though on a second look, maybe a Victorian imitation? The capitals look much too new...

Nicely spotted! built by Lord Leverhulme sometime around 1900.
