Take me to heave Mama xx My dear Mum and Gran used to make the most divine Damson Jam Thud, Grandad grew the damsons, just after WW2, people were so self sufficient, they had to be then, We had a constant supply of home grown fruit and veg seasonal of course, no cloche grown rhubarb from Yorkshire then it was straight out of the garden and into a pie or crumble !Have you ever made Damson Gin Thud ? I hope so as it's divine...hic.. Love Di xxx
