Hay hay hay!
First cut of hay in this year, it smells fantastic and the kids love to play around with the bales (they are the dots playing around in the distance), life is pretty good.

A great chum in the fifties lived on a farm, and the camps we made in the straw bales were just fantastic, some even had several rooms and passages!
It'd be difficult with the big Shredded Wheat bales used today, but then the ones we had were just enough for a ten-year-old to lift and carry around!
