When last in Napa I was talking to Vinogirl about growing up in liverpool and we got to reminiscing about pets.We had cats and the occasional dog plus the ubiquitous goldfish and budgie.My favourite pets had to be tortoises....there is just something about a creature that seems so independant and lives a hundred years. Well lo and behold she writes tonight and tells me Vinomaker just found one on hill behind house...an escapee we presume....welcome to the family t2!

My little runaway
