Drastic plastic

After reading this article I could only think that it was written in order to sympathise with the poor people in the article that are suffering in the current worlds difficult economic climate.Instead the only thing that did cross my mind was...'stop spending money you do not have on things you do not need'...there...that should solve most peoples problems.

I don't use them but the IRS wants me to take cash advances with them to pay back taxes (I paid but not enough). Federal taxes alone that year will have made up 35% of my income and local school taxes another 18%.

The U.S. government is borrowing money to give it away as "aid". Local, state, and the federal U.S. government are encouraging people to borrow money on things they don't need.

Citicards "donates" to kids education in exchange for product placement in schools. Outside of schools, that is called "advertising."

Borrowing money is the new way of indenturing yourself.
