Family OTW are safely and happily ensconced in California and equipped with a gas guzzling SUV are prepared to enjoy all that America has to offer. To American readers I will say that even though family OTW never agreed to the revolution we are prepared to forgive and forget...well for today anyway.English readers can console themselves with the fact that if we had kept America as a colony it would be as big a socialist disaster as present day England (relax Obama....that wasn't an invitation)....so Happy 4th of July ...let the celebrations commence.

today is my mums birthday so i get to have a little drink to celebrate.
my grandpa bless his heart from salford said that as a colony, america could be considered a worse example than india, and would have pro bably v bankrupted enland........i say this just as fireworks for it's birthday have barely started

California is very nice, but there are parts of this country I know you would truly LOVE. (Florida is not one... heh.) If you get a chance to go to any of our great National Parks... please go. I think you won't be disappointed. Can you get to Yosemite?
