Christmas is coming.

As the world continues to spiral into economic meltdown I have decided to take a few days rest from commenting on the problems and write about more pleasant subjects instead. I can not influence the troubles that seem to mount everyday so I will just concentrate making life for my family and friends a more enjoyable experience on a more basic level. With that in mind I have decided to abandon my fruitless quest to buy a Christmas pudding made with beef suet (vegetarians are to blame here) and make my own.Sunday the 23rd of November is Stir Up Sunday so on that day Thud and family OTW will be mixing the alcohol soaked pudding mix and adding the traditional silver thrupenny bit... no doubt resulting in much mockery of my culinary skills but providing some wine fuelled light relief.....any culinary tips are welcome so feel free to advise.

I've never made Christmas pudding but this year I have a craving to. My granny always used to and I'd have a stir and a wish.
