Dirty deeds.

The American Press in its blind fawning adulation of Obama has been seemingly oblivious to his Chicago connections with Wright,Rezko and Ayers. In hot Rod however even the supine press are having to entertain,no matter how carefully, the fact that the chosen one has a problem.I don't know if Obama is culpable in any way or if any of his team (Rahm) are either. It is pretty obvious however that brand Obama is going to be damaged by this scandal at a time when a new president should be at his strongest. Will hot Rod decide to sing any interesting tunes of his own? what further arrests will emerge down the line? Obama is to be inaugurated in a time of unprecedented economic crisis and needs to be seen as a firm commanding head of Americas faltering economy. Will this be truly possible?will the press discover its courage and true function as one of the guardians of an open society and start to look at Obama and his past friends in a more critical light? As much as the press love Obama they love themselves more and a story is a story, for which many would no doubt sell their own mothers.......we do as they say "live in interesting times?

Not exactly "done dirt cheap" in this case!

Obama's connections are dubious anyway so one more won't hurt.

Are there any honest politicians left in the world? I'm not surprised about this 'could be' scandal. Not a good way to start a presidency.

I quite certain that the press will cover for him, they feel responsible since he's their own invention, as much as any other celebrity nit-wit - but Blago can be thrown to the dogs in the Coliseum.
