People of a certain age in Liverpool remember fondly the Santa's grotto in the much missed Blacklers department store.As my final Christmas post I though I would jog a few happy memories...for a child (and my grandmother) this was a magical place.

I bet that was an awesome place to visit for a child. Sad that it's gone. Toy stores are the best, at any age really. :)
I'll keep my eye on the Wirrall for you while you're over there.
A piccy before it was remodeled after the Blitz, I think.
Also Blacklers had the best selection of First Holy Communion dresses :)
