Rubbish!

As I was having breakfast early one morning this week I heard the familiar noise of a bin wagon (garbage truck), looking out the window I saw the binman carry our bin over to the back of the wagon, load it in and return it to its allotted place. No big deal some may think.....anybody who has been harassed by the eco nazi councils in Britain would think otherwise. A weekly collection is a thing many can only dream of and an actual binman physically moving bins is unheard of. How come in PC California a weekly collection is a regular feature of domestic life when in Britain householders are spied upon and plagued with rats etc due to fortnightly summer collections? This may seem a trivial matter but the use of laws about recycling being used to control our behaviour is no small matter...and something that should be resisted when possible. Why should we settle for an expensive service that doesn't match that delivered to every household 20 years ago?...must we be driven back into the dark ages by the eco zealots?

Not only the Eco Zealots but the Big Business blue bags for recyclables, white plastic bags for newspaper, cut the cardboard to small pieces put tins in one bag. Even then the local waste collectors still leave the stuff behind. It drives me nuts.

Well the thing is in California they get the mexicans to the job and they are just happy to have a job, where as over here its too PC therefore you need a degree at oxford to be a refuge technician. After all we couldnt get a immigrant doing the job because thats just wrong.
