Boys toys.

I have spent way too long online in the last few weeks gathering info for my forthcoming large restoration/renovation project. I have looked at ornate ridge tiles, oak doors,Gothic architrave, travertine tiles, plaster coving, lead hoppers, lime mortar...well you get the idea. Some of the articles I am looking for have come down in price and some such as Georgian chimney pots are scarily expensive. One of the first things on my buy list however is the garden tractor pictured...I hate and I do mean hate, mowing lawns and so I buy a house with acres of the bloody stuff. I am hoping the John Deere will make it easier and perhaps even enjoyable, although it does look if I am honest, a little silly?

That's a real toy, wouldn't a tractor + goodies be a better idea with all those hedges and tree's,used to be a tractor and a toy dealer on the A41 between Whitchurch and Chester not far from the Cheshire ice cream farm, mmmm strawberry ice cream.

might want to consider something like this: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100521271&categoryID=528340

I'm not pushing a brand, but the concept. The traditional mower like you have pictured, like I have requires you to get the push mower out to trim.

Whereas the zero turn mowers allow you to trim as you go for the most part, saving time.

Just a thought.

I have a few contacts in ASDA should you need any matching livery. You'd look rather fetching and be very well camouflaged at the same time.Won't cost you a dime!

It needs a co-axial mount for a .30 cal machine-gun. And rocket-launchers. No it's not silly.
I forget that one doesn't need to speak Spanish in order to do lawn-care in Blighty, not like here.

word vf: surecut

I'm aware of that having presided as Senior to the grounds-crew for several croquet tournaments! :p-) Cheers!
