Making Hay.

Despite the title I myself have not been involved in haymaking this week although my neighbours have been rather busy and I do love to watch the combines at work. I have spent the week in a loft (complete with 200 years of cobwebs) putting in a new roof structure to make the new homestead water tight. After work ended today and the chaps departed I sat for awhile in the setting sun and just...well I did nothing. The picture above shows some lichen on the gate to the tennis court (not that I partake) it seemed as full of life as me....there is nothing wrong with a little contemplation after work although a pint of cider would have made the moment just that little more special.

I think La Serenissima's old Slazenger wood racket is lying around somewhere!

Vinogirl!

You've just reminded me, we've got the old Maxply rackets in the roof, quietly festering and probably the same colour as Thudder's gate!

I may be some time looking...
