Saints above

Today the sun shone, work went well,my baby daughter laughed and Paddy's wigwam had a special visitor...all in all not a bad day for a left footer such as myself.

Unusual reasons to celebrate.

That's pretty cool :) I sort of wish I had been brought up a catholic or jew, though I imagine that's a funny thing to say. Lots of tradition and history. I pretty much have no tradition, and Obama's working on getting rid of all that pesky history.

candle...being mildly Catholic has been a low key joy in my life and yes I do find beauty in the history and customs of the church....the weakness and foibles of individuals in the church bothers me not a jot...in fact I find it amusing that some have a problem with god botherers like me! as I have no interest in others religion or lack thereof.

People who have problems with religious people are just guilty cowards who imagine everyone is standing over them in judgment. That and other things. Screw them. My wife's a Catholic, and she believes that you love the sinner and hate the sin, and that's why the Catholic church doesn't act like idiots in a Jerry Sprnger audience when it comes to those who have fallen.
