Once a red.

Not a red of the 'under the bed variety' I mean a supporter of the worlds greatest football team LFC. I don't have a high opinion in general of modern sportsmen but the Spaniard Fernando Torres desire to have his children growing up speaking scouse has warmed the cockles of my heart.

Thank you for visiting my blog. Sorry to take so long to get back to you.

Would that be scouse with a Spanish accent or Spanish with a scouse accent?

You mean you've not seen Raffo Bananas or whatever his name is in any of the restaurants around Heswall and West Kirby, seen him in the Surfers resy in West Kirby one Sunday lunch time during the summer, sigh warmth where are you,I didn't know who the hell he was but then I don't follow the footy,McCartney's bro was in Tesco Heswall on Saturday, but then Paul McCartneys family live in the lower village, names famous or not footy is still only kicking a round ball around a big piece of land, full of cold so can I hang on till next week then I will see how your mates have got on with your pad now that I have your permission.

Getting excited over LFC is all very well......but our own local side York City will be facing Premier League opposition in the FA Cup 3rd Round.....not quite Liverpool, but Stoke !

Thanks for visiting my blog! I grew up on the Mersey .... albeit a few miles further inland than Liverpool.

We lived a couple of years in the US - great place - though I was glad to return home. I'll come and visit your blog again.

Hi, thanks for visiting my blog. I'm not sure when you are due to visit back in the UK, but you will miss the California sunshine when you get here. Can you watch English football in the USA? or do you have to see it on the internet? Also what do you think of American football? I get some interesting comments about it here!

I can empathise with you on this one.It must be strange for LFC to have a top player who isn't a boyhood blue!!! Rush,McManaman,Fowler,Owen,Gerrard...etc....
