Good riddance.

It is easy to say that the death of this man is a poor return for the blood and treasure expended upon Iraq but I must admit to a grim sense of satisfaction. As a Catholic I believe that punishment will be awaiting such a monster as this in the hereafter but in a moment of old testament rightousness I feel his end in the here and now was at least some recompense for the people of Halabja.

I actually thought he was dead already, why the long wait? Strap a rope to him and use him as a mine detector...
