Tonight is bonfire night and all across the land children and adults (me!) are preparing for a night of fire and fun. It maybe fun now but the night does commemorate a rather gruesome end to one of England's more mysterious figures, Guy Fawkes. I suppose as a Catholic I should have a little more sympathy with poor old Guido but unlike some religions I don't take slights to my beliefs with quite the same vigour, so its spuds in the fire and treacle toffee for all.

Remember,remember
