Coughs and sneezes

As we try to wrap up a few important jobs before the start of the holidays the amount of coughing and spluttering around the site has been rather noticeable. Winter always brings sniffles of one sort or another but we have been blighted by pleurisy, flu and various general viral nastiness. Being stupid/doughty the chaps and I have all soldiered on but Christmas is going to provide a welcome relief from the last couple of months ailment swapping. I intend to get my Christmas season well and truly underway this weekend by self medicating with Hine cognac and other tipples...I may be ill but I'll be happy!

Here's ho! In this dismal depleted weather tonight I'm going with a Dark & Stormy, dark cane rum and ginger beer.
Cheers to you and all yours!

Take three onions, a head of garlic, as bottle of cooking brandy and a week-old cabbage.

Boil veg until a green/brown/mush, chuck it all away and just drink the brandy neat.

Works every time...
