Eat,drink and be merry

Tools have been laid aside and the chaps have departed to enjoy a well earned Christmas break from the toils involved in rescuing OTW towers from decrepitude and oblivion. Outside a covering of snow makes everything seem frozen in time, with the surrounding countryside both attractive and mildly threatening with the promise of a day spent around a real fire a more than attractive proposition. The little Princesses are coming to terms with the fact that the mythical father Christmas is due soon (their sense of time is still rather indefinite) and their delight at various Christmas treats is a pleasure to behold (and share I must admit) Mrs OTW is busy making last minute arrangements and no doubt thinking about the arrival of the young boy in the new year, whilst I....well I suppose I should write about my chopping logs or rustling up some tasty concoctions but the reality is that I'm enjoying a well earned rest watching tv in front of the fire and there is where I plan to stay.....Merry Christmas one and all!

Happy Christmas to you and all the OTW Clan Thudders!

Your fireplace looks fantastic, almost surreal! Plenty of room for authorised entry no doubt!

Thud - is that some sort of shrine to John Lennon?
