Shotgun blues
My shotgun licence is now pending and so I am now finding myself perusing the online gun shops with an eye to my first purchase or two. I think an over and under for myself plus a 410 for Mrs OTW should start things of with a bang or two don't you think?. The first guns are being paid for from the money I have been receiving for sessions I recorded in my dim distant musical past for the BBC, which the beeb in all its wisdom have been repeating recently. The lefty, anti gun beeb I'm pretty much sure would not approve of my spending plans but more fool them for repeating my tuneless ditties. I did notice though that a song I recorded long ago for John Peel that had an anti Islamic message (ground breaking hey!) seems to have gone missing from the repeated sessions....I wonder why?

Go for it ! A lovely hand-made piece. As expensive as you dare !
I'd love to hear your music.
No, really? They have censored your Peel sessions? Spineless turds!
If they did that to a Muzzer rock band there would be Fatwas and Jihads a plenty.Did you see the cartoon the papers refused to print. You know, the 'Where's Mo' in a 'Where's Wally' style.Mo wasn't actually in the cartoon, that was the irony of the cartoon, but they were worried that 'someone' might take offence.Wonder who?
Go get em Tudders!
Er..., can you say what songs you sang, like...?
I promise I won't tell anyone else...
Scrobs...the folly of youth should remain in the past!
My grandfather said that a Gentleman always chose to shoot with a side-by-side 16 bore - preferably a Purdey or Holland and Holland. He added that over-and-unders were for Bookies and clay pigeon potters.
But I'm just a motorcyclist, so what would I know?
Camilla, I suspect your grandfather was right but my slightly disreputable scouse background means that as far as shooting goes I can't be picky.
one tip Thud, Lords of a Manor should not saw bits off the barrels as other scousers do.
I expect for a not inconsiderable sum, Purdey might furnish you with one pre-sawn-off and fettled with some nice engraving to hide the saw marks.
A 'friend' of mine who lives on the Bakers Green Estate thinks he might be able to get his hands on Mach 10 or an Uzi I think they are called. No questions asked!!!!
Well done, you! As for my next shotgun, my inner-redneck is fairly screaming for a Benelli M4 Super 90. Made of Ass-Kickery and Win™. We'll be expecting a full report!
