Wake up and smell the coffee.

I know as a builder and an English one at that I should be a confirmed tea drinker but coffee is my default setting on the hot drink front. My new coffee maker arrived today and I look forward to sampling its efforts as it is supposedly an all singing all dancing gadget made by those damned clever Germans.....I just need to finish building the bloody kitchen first.

Think you could live in that coffee maker, looks like it would transform into killing robot if you put the wrong type in, hope you have a degree in computing to work the thing, i'll stick to my french press thanks!

Bloody hell - how much did that set you back?

James...money in fair words but some serious digging on the web helped reduce the pain.

I bet that's brilliant.

Our £30 Lidl's jobby knocks out Americanos as good as any coffee shop's.

Oh yummy! That is stylin'! We found a cheap little Nespresso device, and with a %20-off coupon it came in at a price we could afford. There are a few espresso flavors we prefer, and they ship the capsules with lightning speed - sometimes I get them the next day.

As a piece of engineering it is sacrilege to use something as techno as that for merely making coffee.Unless it is probably the best coffe in the world.

If it's not Italian, it's not a real coffee machine.

Gaggia for prefs, but others are just about acceptable.
