As can be seen the barge board is still definitely a work in process, a process helped along by a couple of hours sanding and carving today...otherwise known as escaping the madness that is potty training the littlest princess OTW !

VG. A house over in Willaston I'm basing the design on give or take a quatrefoil or two!
thats what the woodshop is all about escapism when its raining outside and in.
I watched a carver working on the filigree woodwork at 'Uppark' some years ago.
They were in some incredible detailed work, and I wondered where all the money was coming from, me being a bit commercial like...
But your barge board is indeed a work of art, and also a labour of love no doubt!
