Whilst wandering around San Franciscos China town I like to see if I can see any remaining buildings of the pre 1906 earthquake city. The assorted women of the party amused themselves buying various bits of Chinese finery while I sat in the sun and indulged in my favourite pastime of building and people watching.....yes thats me, action packed.

Thats the way, lad park ter arse with a drink and watch the world go by, we are watchers and observers ,not doers ,let everybody else do whats got to be done, while you do what you've got to do ...order another drink.
Do you mean you were building something and people watching or you were watching buildings and people, not unlike Talking Heads in the late 70s?
Goodness me, you've done it to me yet again. Frequently reading your blog, I really yearn to visit England and see its beautiful sights again. I think I haven't been to Chinatown in SF in about 8 years. Want to go back, and soon! (
