It's the tenth anniversary of 9/11 today and I plan a quite day with my family, something denied the victims of that terrible day. Can any post add anything to the immensity of the falling of the towers? so quiet reflection it is then. On a walk outside this morning I photographed one of this summers remaining butterflies feeding on the last golden buddleia blossoms, pretty hey? of such small things is life made from.

Somehow you've picked the right spot.
Some people have complained of a surfeit of coverage of the 10th anniversary 9/11 in the 'meeja'. Not me; it was terrible because it affected more than just America.
A terrible day for mankind... in sharp contrast however I didn't see too much about 4/19 six years ago.
Or in June this year as it was the tenth anniversary of McVeigh's execution...
