The evils of child labour.

What has the world come to when one feels slightly guilty about sending a 4 year old up a tree? It was the third bout of cider making this gloriously sunny autumn weekend and as my co worker Monkey had already done two sessions and was in urgent need of a manicure and some new guyliner, the little princesses had to turn to.....nobody drinks for free!

We have a wine recipe which uses dry cider with elderberries etc.

Supermarket own brand stuff is fine for this, but drinking the stuff neat, well, I know which cider I'd prefer...

Round here, they pick apples with a shovel...

Poor girls, they have to work hard for their auntie when they are on holiday and now they have to work hard for their nasty dad, how awful, both look as if they have grown at least 6" since the other week.

The girls need to keep up to date on making various kinds of alcohol in this family...work them harder I say!

Well, the princesses certainly look happy in their work, so that's good. :P
