Deere john

My youngest daughter has been telling people we are buying a new Deere John, sounds rather good to me. After the disaster that my first ride on mower (Hayter) turned out to be I have decided to splash out a bit and treat myself to a John Deere x540 ,the x being expensive I believe. My various gardens are too small and awkward for a full size tractor to tackle (I'm buying one anyway eventually) but difficult enough to eat any normal ride on alive so a bit of umph is called for and hopefully a john Deere will make the grade...if not I'm buying some sheep.

Get round to Beeston market 1st Wednesday of the month, Toy R Us wouldn't stand chance, nice old working Fordson and lots of other farming toys including ones like your little picture, I thought no2 daughter and the lads had fixed that other one?.

Where I come from, a "Dear John" is a letter saying either you didn't get the job (but thanks for coming and we wish you all the best for your future), or a warning that you're about to lose the one you've got ("your position is subject to consultation and review beginning x date").

Not v. encouraging in either case.

Hope yours turns out better.
