Funny, I was just looking at Vinomaker's Marshall practice amp yesterday morning and thinking, amongst other things, how cute it is.

To be honest I'm a Roland man nowadays.
It's the compactness of their gear.
The Marshall AS 50 is a great acoustic amp but a little too big by today's standards.
My amp packs similar volume but goes in a small bag and runs off 6 AA batteries.
Kev, I had a a Roland chorus back in the day, a very distinctive sound.
I have to say was not acquainted with him, but now I am...is he responsible for head banger music or the whole slew, I like it all. The Father of Loud, love that. From now on I will call myself mother of loud.

Thud - A lot of it is to do with valve technology. A good Marshall with valves in it can't be beat.
The Beatles were into VOX (Rickenbackers, Gretsch - shit like that) And no-one was listening to them anyway - pure hysteria.
Give me a 50s Fender Strat or a Gibson LPaul/SG through a Marshall stack anyday.
Ek.... I loved my LP customs but my Gretsch 6120 took some beating.

EK... Brian Setzer a fav of mine but Eddie Cochran was my original inspiration hence the 6120. Your skills put mine to shame but I made up for lack of talent with enthusiasm and volume...well thats my excuse.by coincidence I have been considering releasing some old stuff of mine on itunes later this year, unreleased stuff I recorded for warner bros plus john peel sessions etc, a mid life crisis my be beckoning.
