The life of a class traitor and peripatetic scouser.
It looks fabulous!
Thought you'd come over all religious.
Wow, it looks so authentically historical! I have to say that plank of whatever you chaps are standing on looks a bit wobbly.
ALW, re the plank, we aren't big on health and safety here...it makes the working day more interesting.
I am f****ng useless by comparison. I can't do any of this stuff.
EK....get me in your cab and I'll show you useless!
That looks awesome, better than our veneer fireplace!
Hi Thud- Fascinating work. I've never done anything like the stone carving, or even seen it done. The concrete block looks way too familiar to my lower back, though. In the US, that sort of window detail on a house is all Fypon or stucco over foam now. It looks stone-ish from the curb, I guess. In the same way Marilyn Manson looks like Marilyn Monroe, anyway.
There's no art in train driving, Thud. Though there is quite a bit more to it than people think.
It's useful on bricklaying to have a left-hander and a right-hander working on a wall... I thought the trestles could have been set up for a tall right-hander and a short-arsed left-hander...
