Beat combo

This now and then pic of the Beatles (quarrymen) was taken in the Childwall abbey pub, a pub I know rather well. The gothic architecture of this red sandstone built hostelry has always made it a rather appealing watering hole and the Beatles connection makes it just that little bit more attractive...I'll have a brown mix please!

Our local pub Thud, as if you didn't know. The building is lovely but a bit run down inside now and sells grotty pub food. With a little tlc and a decent landlord it could be wonderful1
Didn't know the Beatles played there, I was a bit too young to go to pubs then !
Thanks for the memory though!
