Selling Christmas

Christmas like most holidays has been used by the advertising industry to sell just about anything.As a rule I try to ignore the soft sell and just buy what we need or what I feel may benefit me in some way.Today however a packet of cornflakes (which I buy anyway) with box art consisting of a Norman Rockwell Santa drawing did catch my eye and ended up in the shopping trolley.....advertising works!
