Spooky
Of all the American imports pumpkin carving is my least favourite but the kids love it so what's a Dad to do? mind you it beats carving a turnip, a horror I remember from my childhood.

We had five pumpkins on the go this year, and apart from the biggest, which is 45" in diameter, they've all gone to friends and family.
This week, I'm going to carve the whole thing up and give even more to chums in the village, as well as freeze a load, as it's great in soup!
The type of veg - American Giant - has nothing to do with it..;0)
It can be hard work, but it's worth it.
