As shown my cherry,damson and pear trees are in full blossom so a fruit filled summer beckons, now if the quince,apple and medlar come good then I'm well set, like my jam I hope.

Chuck makes tasty jam

As packing for family OTW continues for this summers Californian sojourn I have been adding my version of travel essentials to the more practical packing of Mrs OTW. Foremost amongst my additions is Duchy of Cornwall Damson Jam....I,m not sure if Prince Charles actually mucks in when the jam is made but its the worlds greatest jam(commercial that is, for all home jam makers out there)....anything that saves me from the horror that is grape jelly, is for me a travel essential,after all...what would I do without my jam butties? (don't worry vinogirl and serenissima...I have a little something for you both)
