Ritual

As a coffee drinker I enjoy drinking as many different types as I can when over here in California, from gourmet to cheapo free refills at Dennys . Ritual coffee in Napas oxbow market is a great brew but the faintly commie, islamist logo leaves me a little unsettled and not feeling the need to buy a mug etc.....yup I'm a crank!

It's OK to be a crank, I'm pretty not-sure that I'd bother patronize such a coffee-seller when so many others abound.

I used to be a dedicated coffee drinker until a few of years ago.

A big garden centre opened near here, and Mrs Scroblene and I visited to have a poke round, as we had some sort of loyalty card which meant we had a free cup once a month...

It was utterly foul, such that I haven't touched a drop since, but a glass of good Californian vino makes up for the difference!

You're clearly in the right place for both, Thud!

Enjoy!

It is a bit of a weird logo...they probably think it's very clever.

Logic via the extreme ponders whether Cali vines will all be torn-out and replaced by coffee trees or coconuts when ISIS takes over? There sure is enough nuts over there now, present company, almonds, and pistachios excluded.

I love making coffee at home. We use a Bialleti perculator and it turns out coffee better than the shops. We use the caffetiere only for frothing milk.

I am a sucker for coffee shop coffee and should never buy it unless seated. £2.50 a cup !!!

McDonald's does surprising good coffee at around £1.50 with the sixth free. As staff in uniform I get a Cheeseburger/breakfast bap and coffee for £1.99.

Kev, we can go on a coffee bar crawl sometime...maybe run and jog after half a dozen double shots, as for free to choose bike...married with children, I don't think so!

He he.

I'm not much of a conversationist without a beer inside me.
