60 years ago today a free and democratic nation was born in a sea of totalitarian Arab nations.60 years later that country is still free and democratic but now surrounded by increasingly murderous islamic fundamentalists and ineffective dictatorships. That nation deserves our support...that nation deserves our thanks for being our frontline defence against those who wish us harm...that nation is Israel...long may she flourish.

Happy Birthday.
