Okay, I used to work one of those "shitty" jobs, and I was making about $50K a year by the time I was 25. Yeah, it felt soul-crushing, but only because I was SO veddy veddy immature. Whatever you do for a living, be it in a suit and tie or coveralls, if it's not your life's passion, then it's just a form of prostitution and you going to the highest bidder anyway. There is no shame in doing grotty work and cleaning toilets. What is shameful to me is looking down on people who do such work, and that's what the Dems don't understand - they're spoiled babies who don't want to do the menial shit that must happen in order for society to function. Sheesh. This is turning into a rant. I'm going to have to post this on my blog.
But yeah, I happened to see this on the Onion yesterday, and I chuckled. Their parodies are brilliant.
