Idle hands.

Summer was so bad this year that I have not been able to finish all the outside roof work etc that was scheduled for this period. In an attempt to catch up on work we are doing roof work and external repairs to windows and water goods whenever the weather will allow. On the frequent bad weather days however we are making work for idle hands by doing work on jobs such as the unfinished wet room above. The travertine bought in for the job has been a pleasure to work with, fine grained and of even colouration. The internet has reduced the price of such materials ,but much available is of inferior quality and can make a job a distinctly unpleasurable experience. This particular job is in a cellar and required drilling through 28 inch stone walls to put high capacity ventilation fans in....you need a clutched drill for such a job....unless you like flying around the room like a windmill..perhaps you do?

You got to move a lot of air to keep a cellar-shower from getting mildew!
