Avian central
Having an old house and several of old cottages etc means I have quite a few extra inhabitants...especially of the feathered variety. High up on one of the walls,in a crack, a family of Pied Wagtails have taken residence and yet again I put my negligible camera skills to use to provide the accompanying photo for this post. Wagtails are quite fascinating little birds with their dignified black and white plumage allied to their rather friendly persona and it is a constant pleasure to see them scurrying to and fro on the lawn...and yes I am still ignoring our dire political situation.

what dire political situation? next weekend forget working im sitting with me camera waiting.
Wow...Gerald Durrell's got nothing on you!
so, will your re-pointing and re-rendering make these birds homeless next year ?
so in politics everyone made a compromise, think we should try the same thing in the us
Haddock...a good question and one that I have been thinking on this weekend. I figure the birds were here before me and it is not beyond me to accomodate them with no real expense or trouble just a little effort. So with some planning ahead I think my feathered friends will be fine and cheering my day for years to come.
putz...no true compromise...just paralysis.
Politics? What's that?
