Just in time for the start of the bad weather our office in the courtyard is finally finished, except for the woodstove that is. So on Tuesday morning a quick job on the roof to set the correct height for the flue liner and we should be burning any wood scraps from joinery work by the afternoon. Working from home it is on occasion difficult to get motivated in the morning and so now I have no excuse to sit around and watch ceebeebies with the little uns as the chaps will expect the stove lit and a brew on the go when they arrive, nice for some hey?

Very nice...are you putting a sofa in there for the lads?
Washable is the way to go.
What happened to the old tent ,i dont know you spoil those workers.....No wonder the countries going to the dogs. The builders sitting slurping tea in front of a roaring fire watching ceebeebies????
That looks nice now it's finished,in amongst your toys to do you have a leaf blower or a brush or maybe both, thinking have you looked at the way chimneys the are built at Ellesmere Port Rail Station,by the way an old stone farm house 1621 grade II listed has just become empty, the only problem is its at the western end of Limekiln Lane,Poulton Bridge road,it's called ‘The Old House' or ‘Bird’s House’,the oldest surviving house on the Wirral.
So no TV in the office.
CW...my choice would be classic fm but the chaps only listen to oldie but goldie stations.
There seems to be loads of wood just lying about around here!
I can never resist bringing it home and reducing it to logs on the Scrobs Inc Automated Reciprocal Saw...
Scrobs...diagrams please.
what is the 'bench' in the picture ? looks like the basis of a commode for Scunthorpe lasses or something a stonemason might use.
haddock
Haddock...tis a masons bank indeed, last used (before me) by a master mason on Liverpool Anglican cathedral.
