The next 2 months of frantic activity should see 90% of the internal work on the big house done before the arrival of the new baby. As there is no rest for the wicked I am already planning the start of the major external works. The major job of lime rendering of the outside is in its early stages with samples of aggregate under scrutiny and what pozzolan to use under discussion (more in later post) The design and commissioning of sandstone gateposts and accompanying wooden gates are next on my list while the smaller garden gates should be sourced after some effort from a salvage yard (pic above).All this combined with winding and walking the new baby to sleep at all hours should keep me occupied for....years?

Winding down
The next 2 months of frantic activity should see 90% of the internal work on the big house done before the arrival of the new baby. Nice to see you are using salvage although north valley forge have some lovely estate gates (on my wish list for when I win the lottery!)have a look on that internetty thingy!

About you did some work,leaving it all to your gang is just not on,winding and walking the new babe to sleep your avin a larf,3 women in the house,two will have him wrapped up in cotton wool when he's born and batter him when he's older,and he has to grow up in a two Liverpool family environment keeping an eye out on him,built in baby sitters all round,when older,with fields and tree's and lake's around and a farm next door and 2 other big houses not far away,with a doting mum and dad,the lad will have hit the jackpot,is OTW no1 enjoying nursery and has OTW no2 learnt how to lay a course of bricks or lay tiles.

albert...the walking and winding is my only contribution so I milk it for all its worth.
I want to go to some salvage yards when I'm home, especially the one that had the big Liverbird.
