It's the Irish in me

To take my mind off all things baby I spent yesterday digging over my veggie patch and planting spuds...lots of spuds, you really can't have enough spuds.

Planting taters is an excellent way to bring a previously unused bit of ground into cultivation.

Have you checked princess OTW2 hasn't dug any tunnels around there, when mrs Albert and princess OTW1 was putting some plant by the wall, princess OTW2 was busy digging holes, we wait for the announcement but are going to the Harrogate flower show on Friday, if your not running to the hospital on Friday, a Royal Canadian Navy ship is due to park up at the Pier Head.
Perch Rock Fort will be firing a cannon in salute to our colonial cousins and using an Aldis lamp to communicate from the fort to the ship at the Pier Head.

Hey! , hey!, I'd like you to know , got the two teleprinters connected together at the fort last Thursday, and popped in on Sunday and put them on test, the kids went mad on them, the only thing that bothered me was, the kids were typing as if they were texting their mates, plenty of other kit to sort out and the sea breezes just can't beat it, mrs nosey Albert awaiting starting orders :-).

With all the technology in the world, why has no-one yet developed a potato that simple grows ready-chipped?
