Some things do change for the better

Not so many years ago I would have spent today recovering from another very late night spent working security on the doors of Manchester and Liverpool's clublands, more often than not with cuts and bruises (or worse) to prove it.Today however is fathers day and I spent the day having fun with my growing band of little uns. The Princesses and I spent the morning gathering elderflower which then was mixed by my eldest (soon to be 4) daughter with lemons, water, sugar and citric acid. The resulting mess/concoction should when it finishes infusing be a refreshing elderflower cordial....beats taking a beating!
